Deirdre is Marketing Director of TV3 Group, Ireland’s leading commercial broadcaster. Deirdre graduated with an LLB in Law from Trinity College Dublin in 2004, before embarking on postgraduate in Business where she majored in Marketing.
Deirdre started off her career in Setanta Sports Ireland before joining the Marketing department in TV3 in 2006 and amongst other campaigns was part of the team responsible for delivering TV3’s marketing campaign for the Rugby World Cup in 2007. In 2008, Deirdre moved to TV3’s commercial department to head up its Branded Content division, responsible for driving broadcast sponsorship, promotions, product placement and advertising funded programming revenues. Across this time, in addition to helping grow TV3’s branded content department and revenues, she worked across a number of high profile Sports campaigns including TV3 and Diageo’s ‘Area 22’ Rugby programme; Bulmers partnership with Sports Tonight; and Lucozade Sports sponsorship of the Europa. In 2012 Deirdre was asked to join the management board of TV3 as Group Marketing Director and since then has been responsible for driving and delivering TV3’s consumer and trade marketing communications. With this year’s Rugby World Cup coverage exclusive to TV3, Deirdre will the lead the team responsible for delivering the marketing strategy for the event the entire country is eagerly anticipating!
